About Us
Non Gamstop Casinos is a research-based review site for adults in the UK who want to understand non GamStop casinos before they decide anything. We explain bonuses, payments, withdrawals, games and the protections that do or do not apply, so you can judge an operator on facts rather than advertising. This page covers who we are, how we work, how we earn money and what we won't do.
How we earn money, and why it doesn't set the rankings
The publisher of this site may earn commission if you register with an operator through one of our links. That is how the site is funded. Commission does not buy position: ranking is decided by the editorial criteria below, and an operator cannot pay to be placed higher or to have a weakness left out. The selection of casinos and top lists is supplied by the publisher, and we then review and describe them using the same factors for each.
The editorial ratings shown on the site are our own assessments of the information we reviewed. They are not customer-review scores and should not be read as one.
What this site is for
Our focus is casinos that operate outside GamStop, with a particular interest in operators holding Curaçao licences. We want readers to understand what they are getting into. That means being plain about a point many sites skip: a casino that accepts British customers is not necessarily authorised by the UK Gambling Commission to serve them. Operators outside the GB licensing system are not bound by GamStop, and UK-style protections, dispute routes and complaint handling may be weaker or different.
We don't present gambling as a way to make money or fix financial problems, and we never describe any casino as completely safe or guarantee winnings or withdrawals.
What we cover
- Licensing and ownership: which regulator or overseas licence an operator states, and what that does and doesn't mean for a UK player.
- Bonuses: welcome, deposit, free spin, no-deposit and cashback offers, plus wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum bet limits, expiry dates and cashout caps.
- Payments: minimum deposits, GBP accounts, debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, PayPal availability, cryptocurrency, fees and currency conversion.
- Withdrawals: processing times, limits, identity and source-of-funds checks, and how disputes are handled.
- Games and betting: slots, jackpots, live dealer tables, software providers, RTP and volatility, plus sports and esports betting, in-play markets, accumulators and cash-out.
- Safer gambling: self-exclusion, deposit and loss limits, blocking software and support from GamCare.
How we assess each casino
We have no testing evidence to offer, so we don't claim to have deposited, played or withdrawn at any operator. Our reviews rest on research: the casino's published terms, its stated licence details, its advertised offers and payment pages, and publicly available regulatory information. We check:
- Licensing and ownership information as stated by the operator, and whether it can be verified with the issuing body.
- Bonus conditions, especially wagering, maximum bets, expiry and cashout limits.
- Payment options and whether they appear to suit British customers, including GBP support and conversion charges.
- Withdrawal rules, verification requirements and stated limits.
- Game and sportsbook range, and the software providers named.
- Customer support channels and the complaints process described.
- Safer gambling tools offered.
Where we can't confirm something, we say so. Where a figure is a casino's own advertising, we treat it as advertising, not as verified fact. Terms change often, so check the current rules on the casino's own site before you register. Our latest fact-check for this page was on 1 October 2026.
What a headline bonus doesn't tell you
Many of the offers we list are large. A welcome package of several hundred per cent can sound generous, but the value depends on the wagering requirement, how different games count towards it, the maximum bet allowed while the bonus is active and the time limit. For example, a £100 bonus with a 40x wagering requirement means £4,000 of qualifying bets before the bonus winnings can normally be withdrawn. Amounts in other currencies, such as euros or dollars, may also bring conversion fees if your account is not in pounds. We place these conditions beside each offer wherever we can, and our main list of non GamStop casinos shows the current selection.
Where our independence has limits
- We are paid commission on some referrals, which is why we explain the funding model openly.
- Our rankings reflect our criteria, but they are judgments, and another reader may weigh things differently.
- We cannot resolve disputes with a casino on your behalf.
Who should use this site, and who shouldn't
You must be 18 or over. If you have registered with GamStop to stop gambling, please don't use non GamStop sites to get around that decision. Self-exclusion exists to protect you, and overseas operators don't offer the same safeguards. Our responsible gambling page sets out the tools and support available, including GamCare. If gambling is causing you harm, free and confidential help is available from GamCare on 0808 8020 133.
